I've found this on my archives recently; it was an interesting project where Vyle, Manny and I bought some little square rock tiles at Home Depot (see in bathroom or kitchen area) and decided to use them as canvas. The original forms on the tiles dictated the subjects and I then used acrylics, poscas, glitter, decals...etc. to paint on top of them. the frame is made of recycled wood. I wish y'all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!!

Last Saturday, Tariq, Dan, Joel, Sebastien and I went for the 1st time to a Dr. Sketchy's live painting session featuring Chastity Chevy. It was good to draw again, especially with my Tablet PC and ArtRage, here are some of the sketches from this event, it is only 10$ for 3H, next time should be fun!

Alchemy is a very attractive and handy tool, it is a vector-based drawing software that I would suggest to give a try, no undo, no bullshit, just an interesting new way of creating images... here are some early tests doodling on my Tablet PC.

I scanned these 2 old pages from one of my sketchbook, the first one is a drawing made during a life-drawing session at the 1st Massive Black workshop in Austin, back in June 04. The second one is just a page full of random doodles.

Update of the previous image, I've posted it on deviantART and got a lot of interesting feedback, I liked the fact that everyone saw it as an old kitsch Pulp magazine cover type of illustration, so after some minor tweaks... voila!

I will regularly post some images I do from time to time on my Pocket PC, these are old paintings (size: 100%) made during a trip to a Gnomon Workshop: Live! conference. I use Pocket Artist 3 which is basically a light version of Photoshop, really fun to use... if only I had the pressure sensitivity (like a DS)! topleft> environment, topright> Seb sleeping during the flight, bottomleft> creature made during Puddnhead's demo, bottomright> abstration made during Syd Mead's demo.
